Frequently asked questions (FAQs):

1. Are your programs formally accredited?

No, we are not formally accredited and don’t plan to seek any type of formal accreditation.  Our enrollment and teaching standards are extremely rigorous to an extent where our programs may not be suited for most of the people.  We urge individuals to explore and read all information and think carefully about time commitments and required course work load before spending time in additional activities.

2. Are you affiliated with any university?

No, our programs are not affiliated with any university.

3. Give me more details about: enrollment criteria, fee structure, research and teaching methodology for “Professional laureate in Computer Science, Statistics and analytics” program.

Since personalized attention and experiential learning are main components of our education delivery model so we enroll only up to 5 candidates in a given level.

You need to hold Master’s Degree in Computer science; Software, Mathematics or related fields along with minimum 10 years of progressive work experience and must clear an online video interview.  You must be able to prove your written and spoken English skills along with subject matter knowledge and technical acumen to complete the program.  We are exceptionally selective in our process and deliver our programs at very low cost with high quality instructions and content.

Program duration is 5 years and it is delivered online.  There is an online contact workshop each month along with other collaboration and communication activities using various online tools.  Student needs to be exceptionally self-motivated and disciplined to complete the program.  Also you need to have inclination to do field research.  Student has to submit and complete thesis in relevant topic of interest followed by question and answer session.  At the same time, student needs to publish 1 research paper in reputed journal along with publication of at least three articles.  Apart from this a student needs to complete capstone project at end of each level in course which will be based on real life problem.  The criteria itself is so tough that this program is not well suited for most of the people.  There are four levels; level 1, level 2, level 3 and level 4 in course and student needs to complete all four levels to complete the program.

We update our curriculum based on market trends; student is free to do literature review in each course as prescribed in program outline and must read formal text books.  There will be relevant tutorials in form of power point presentations for significant and complex topics, videos and monthly workshops etc.  Each course exam will have combination of quizzes and essay type questions which student needs to pass.  Course instructors and researchers will work with cohort and at times with individual students on 1 to 1 basis.

There is an annual fee of US $ 1500 per year and it is anticipated that a highly motivated and self-disciplined student can complete program within 5 years.  Please note that we don’t charge annual or complete program fee in advance.  We only charge monthly fee of US $ 125 per month as this is convenient for student as well as us.

Since total program is divided into 4 levels so if a student completes a particular level of course, the certificate will be awarded to show case achievement up to that level only.  Course completion certificate will be awarded to only those researchers and practitioners who will complete all four levels of the program.

In case student drops out, no further fee is charged and there are no refunds either for any past amounts paid.  A level based certificate will be awarded to such students only in scenario where all relevant course work pertaining to that level has been completed.

There is US $ 15 non refundable application processing fee to apply for the program.  You should use PayPal email address (through which you paid us application processing fee) to apply for the program.  A student can prepare an email and send it to us including answers to below three questions:

Why do you think this program is suitable for you and what do you expect in terms of outcomes from this program?

Please provide brief synopsis of your qualifications and work experience and include a linked in profile for cross validation?

Name two research ideas and what you want to do with them?  How are they aligned to your overall professional goals and current and future market trends?  Do you want to complete a capstone project in alignment with your ideas?

4. What happens if there is no open vacancy in a particular program?

Due to personalized attention and cohort nature of our program, if we think that we can’t do justice with a student due to unavailability of open slots or our team of researchers and instructors are too busy with existing students, we will politely inform you about our decision.  This is why we charge only nominal application processing fee and are so descriptive about our program offerings.  Our program format and delivery is not suited for everyone and we understand that.

5. Do you offer course text books?

No, we don’t provide any course text books.  We recommend course text books and student can avail them from market.

6. Do you consider life skills experience?

No, we don’t.

7. Do you help program participants and candidates with any type of visa?

No, we don’t.

8. Why do you charge application processing fee?

Our research shows a nominal application processing fee is required to attract serious applicants, it also contributes towards our operational expenses.  This is why we have kept application fee on lower side while maintaining our non commercial intent.

9. What will be format of certificate and can it be cross checked? Do you offer placement assistance?

A researcher or practitioner who successfully finishes required course work and passes exam for a particular level will be awarded completion certificate accordingly.  A researcher or practitioner who completes all 4 levels of program will be awarded a comprehensive certificate indicating the same.  All certificates will have identification number and will be delivered in PDF format.  Prospective employers or other interested parties can email at given contact information to cross check about certificate validity.  A student needs to sign waiver form permitting us to release pertinent information to employers or other interested parties.

Regarding placement assistance, our programs are geared towards researchers and practitioners and we believe someone who is capable of completing such course work will create new opportunities for self and society and won’t need placement help in literal sense.  We don’t guarantee any placements.

10. How many hours are required to complete course work for a course in a given level?

A student needs to spend approximately 135 hours towards each course.

11. What happens if a student fails in a particular course exam?

We encourage student to only take one course at a time. Unless a student clears preceding course, the person is not allowed to enroll in next course.  If we see that student is not able to maintain respectable cumulative grade average, which is grade B, then we don’t recommend student to enroll in next level and advise person to only complete current level in which he or she is enrolled.  In event a student has to retake two courses in given level, our honest advice to the person will be, to not continue with the program.

12. If a student fails to complete all courses in a level, will he or she receive certificate of completion for that level?

No, level completion certificate is awarded in such event.  Yes, student will receive mark sheet displaying grades for all completed courses in a given level.

13. What is your admission cycle? Do you encourage networking among cohort of students? Do you transfer credits for prior completed course work?

We offer rolling admissions and make decision on ongoing basis.  Program starts twice in July and January during a given year.

Yes, we encourage networking among cohort of students.  At start of term, email addresses of students in cohort will be shared.

No, we don’t transfer any types of credit from anywhere.  This is to maintain cohort nature and integrity of our program.  We believe if you achieve completion certificate from us, it should reflect in your thinking, writing, communication and all other aspects of life.
